Application

For more than 15 years, South Coast Bank has worked to be a resource for the local community. Part of our commitment to the Golden Isles and Glynn County includes helping students understand banking and the role it plays in a local economy.

This program provides a hands-on learning experience as students are exposed to various aspects of financial services, including investing, personal money management, lending, and technology. Selected students are prepared for future leadership opportunities and are provided chances to learn using real life scenarios.

An independent panel of community participants makes a selection of upcoming seniors based on the submitted application, extracurricular involvement, essay, and letters of recommendation.

The program begins in August and concludes in April. Meetings are held monthly, normally in the morning before school with a few in the evening. Participants are expected to make every effort to attend.
